Just over a year ago, this is how we met Lisa… 
Here she is in May 2024, being prepped in one of the operating rooms at the Jerry Coughlan Health & Wellness Centre.
What made Lisa’s procedure so exciting was that she was, as well as being the first patient to receive shoulder surgery at the Jerry Coughlan Health & Wellness Centre, also the first patient in Canada (!) to undergo shoulder arthroscopy using cutting-edge “pano scope” technology. It’s dual-view telescope significantly improves surgical precision whiteout having to change devices.
And that pano-scope technology was funded by donors to the Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation!
One year later, this is Lisa now…
