On Sunday August 30, a little rain and overcast skies did not keep the young & young at heart from joining us the 2026 Family Fun Day held at Ajax Downs.
Attendees had a great time enjoying games, hanging out with new furry or scaly friends, making their way through the inflatable obstacle course, enjoying some popcorn or cotton candy, listening to the musicians and watching the magicians! And of course, in the background were the thuds of horses’ hooves as they came thundering down the track.

Over the last 16 years, Family Fun Day has grown into a much-anticipated family-friendly event that introduces members of our community to horse races as well as raises money for the Ajax Pickering Hospital.
And thank you to all the volunteers who are with us from early in the morning to help set-up to after the event to help tear-down.
