Since the inaugural event in 2005, this event has earned the distinction of Durham Region’s premier black-tie charity fundraiser. More importantly, due to the generosity of the sponsors & guests, it has raised over $3 million for the Ajax Pickering Hospital, and hundreds of thousands more for so many essential Durham-based charities and not-for-profit organizations.
The impact of this event on the health care of our community is far and wide, with the event supporting many different departments & programs in the hospital, as well as various pieces of equipment:

- furniture for the new offices of the Assertive Community Treatment Team
- Ventilators for the ICU
- Monitors & Monitoring System for the NICU
- Heart Monitors for the Emergency Department
- Refurbishment of the Quiet Room in the Emergency Department
- Panda Warmers for Labour & Delivery
- Fetal Monitors for Labour & Delivery
- ECG Machine for Cardiac Diagnostics
- Portable Ultrasound Machines for the ICU & Complex Continuing Care unit
- Transport Incubator for Labour & Delivery
- Vital Signs Monitors (multiple departments)
- OR Universal Platform (Surgical Tower), and the
